From June 22, 2017 to July 21, 2017, a special exhibition took place as part of the 10th anniversary of LAB Architekten. The artist Rifai Ahmad, born in Derk (northern Syria), presented his impressive works in the LAB office.
His painting is characterized by abstract and expressive directions. Conflicts and crises have influenced his artistic path. Ahmad tries to capture what lies beyond the horizon of our perception. His paintings are testimonies of life and war that created a new life.
The exhibition at the LAB office was a tribute to the creative diversity and commitment of LAB architects. Drawings and oil paintings by Rifai Ahmad found their place here to inspire visitors and make them think.
