Birth
The Birth cycle marks the profound rebirth of Rifaae in a new cultural environment. These works, created between 2020 and 2023, are an artistic manifestation of the development of a new identity shaped by both his Syrian roots and Austrian culture. Ultrasound images dominate this cycle, with each image celebrating the uniqueness and beauty of life.
The ultrasound images are more than medical images; they are a metaphor for the emergence of new ways of life and perspectives. The artworks show a fragile but powerful development that is permeated by codes and digital markings. These symbols represent the modern mapping of humanity in an increasingly digital age.
Rifaaes Birth is a visual exploration of the tension between natural emergence and digital fixation. The works invite the viewer to reflect on the origins and evolutionary journey of life.
